I never liked peanut brittle before, but the story of its origin and your father's recipe with the “one secret ingredient” caught my attention. When I tasted it, I noticed its light amber color, unlike the darker ones in stores. It tasted light and airy, not heavy and overly sweet like other brittles that hurt your teeth. My only regret is not trying it with red wine—it would have been a great combo. Now, I’m a fan.
